this scrapbook page was fun to do, i made circle frames from odd bits of the chocolate paper pack. mounted the photo on to baige paper. stuck the circles on behind the photo. then attached the photo on top. i attached buttons inside the top and middle circles. i attached chocolate flowers to the other circles using brads. i then cut two strips of doted paper and attached them to the photo with brads for added interest. last of all i stuck a brown falt ribbon on the photo and attached the label holder in the centre, with the name steven inside.

this is a lo of me, i am a sister to 5 brothers. here i used chocolate papers, brads & flowers. this is another circle lo, that i wonted to try. im quite pleased with how this lo turned out. the photo is of me in benidorm, posing for the camera in my new outfit. i used a dymo machine for the wording. it was a fab holiday, just wish i was there now.

this scrapbook page is of my cousin heidi, i used a star paper for the background and then using various green 8x8 papers, i angled the papers for a nice effect. i added the photo, then last of all i attached the title my cousin heidi to finish it off. im realy pleased with how this lo works ,it's simple but effective.

this is a lo of my niece victoria, i decided to use circles again, but in a differant way this time. i cut a thin strip of dotted paper first. then a wide strip of a differant pattern paper. i stuck the thin strip down first, then the wide strip on top of that. then i added a big square of dotted paper, over the wide band, leaving a small gap, so you can see the underlying paper. i added a thin strip of dotted paper next to that. i cut out 4 tiny circles brown, and stuck them down at the top of the page. i then cut out 3 differant size circles, on 1 i attached a photo of victoria & a flower. the middle one i added dymo words, and mounted that on to some cream card. the top 1 i added a flower. i cut out 2 small brown circles and stuck them on to the top circle. and last of all i added the flowers bottom left of page.

This lo is of my niece tammy, using the chocolate paper set, i cut out a big circle shape frame, i then cut some of the papers in strips. i attached the paper strips down first, with the smaller one in the middle. then i stuck down the big circle frame on top. i stuck the photo down, at the top of the circle. then i cut out some squares, using two of the papers. and stuck those down, over the bottom half of the circle. using cross stitch thread i stitched around over two of the squares, for added interest. the other two squares i drew in the stitching. then added some stickers in the squares. on the first stip of paper, i attached a vellum sentament, in the centre, using chocolate brads. also adding some brads to the top and bottom. last of all to finish the scrapbook page, i attached the flowers, to the corners of the photo. im quite pleased with how this lo turned out.

here is a lo i made of the Eden project, i have added some of the flowers and butterflies to the page using sticky foam pads to make them 3 dimentional. ( standout). i used the free papers and embellishments, i had from a craft mag i bought recently. the colours are fab. i attached two photo's togeather, one underneeth the other, for a great effect, i love the close up shot of the red flower. i made the title eden my self using a scrap of striped paper, drawing the word eden on top, then cutting it out. i just love this page.

here is a lo i made, using ovel shapes, these are my three nephews, they are brothers. so i thought id do a brother theme page. i used my fiskars oval stencil to draw inside the ovels. i never could use the cutter that came with it. so i just draw around the shapes and use a scissors or a normal craft knife instead. i cut some ribbon in three diferant lenghts. and added the two long ribbons across the page first. then over the top of these, i stuck down the 3 differant lengh ribbons down. i stuck the mounted photo's down on top the ribbons, for a differant effect. i added a party die cut in between the two ribbons. i then cut out a square from purple paper, and added brother stickers, buttons and star brads to this. adding two buttons and a sticker underneeth. i made the journaling card myself, using deckle edge scissors and journaling pens. i added this to the page. and last of all to finish it off i added football stickers. im quite pleased with how this lo turned out.

was busey scrapbooking yesterday, and wonted to use circles in my lo, im loving circle lo's at the mo. i used my chocolate papers and a vintage text paper, which i think works quite well togeather. i used my fiskars circle template, to do this page. the lettering were die cut letters, in my book, scrapbooking. i cut out a wavey shape from the black patterned paper, then stuck that on to the vintage text paper. stuck that to the page. added the photo's of mum and my two nieces, shelby & shannon. cut the circles out of both papers. and attached them in a wavy shape on both sides of the paper. i think the finished resalt is quite effective.

I had a great time scraping these photo's, of my brothers. using my fab new chocolate papers, flowers & brads. i also bought these fab making memories, metal frames. which were ideal for this lo. i used the striped paper for the background. then cutout a floral paper smaller, then the backing paper, cuting a scallope edge at the bottom of it. i then cut out circles from various chocolate papers, the circles were cut in three differant sizes. i attached the circles diagonaly through the centre of the lo. i stuck the framed photo's, at the top of the page on the right hand side. i typed out my brothers names, with the dymo machine. and attached the words to the bottom circle. i stuck down the black ribbon at the bottom of the floral paper, then added three big flowers togeather and attached them to the black ribbon with a chocolate brad. i also added some small flowers to the page. then last of all i added a brothers sticker, cutting the sticker, in to seperate words. i brought the chocolate papers, chocolate flowers, chocolate brads and metal frames from the memory keepsakes website.

this is a scrapbook page i made of me when i was on holiday in Barbados. i cut the white paper out free hand, then stuck that to the black paper, i then cut around it leaving a black border, i used a round plate and drew on the back of the circle dot paper, around the plate, then cut it out, i stuck that in the centre of the page. using a ruler i drew in the lines on the white paper. i drew a leaf design on the back of some black paper, then cut it out, then i drew some butterflies on to blue & green paper, then cut them out. i made the black & white frame too. i stuck the frame down over the photo at an angle. then stuck the leaf design down & the butterflies down, along the side of the photo. at the bottom i added a blue check ribbon. added a diecut in the middle of the ribbon. on the right side bottom i added a flower sticker. drew in a cirly design next to it, then last of all i made two green bows and attached them to the sides of the checked ribbon. im so pleased with this lo, but it took ages to do. still i think it was worth it. xx

this is a lo i made of my brother jason, when he was young. i mounted the photo on to green vellum, then tied two differant ribbons around the photo. i cut out a bracket shape using stripy paper, then added that under the photo. stuck on the sunflower stickers to the sides. then last of all i attached a die cut, laughter word to the top of the page to finish it off.

here is a lo i made of my cousin heidi's wedding, i bought this paper from the making memories website. i mounted the photo on to pink paper and added the flower and stickers to finish it off. it was such a lovely day, a day to remember, the bride & groom looked lovely, and our brides maid dresses were lovely too. the weather couldent of been more perfect. im quite pleased with this lo, and the paper was fab.

i had a fun day yesterday, making this lo, i used a spoty paper for the background, then i used a big plate to draw around on the back of the black floral paper, cut it out and stuck it down in the centre of the spoty paper, using the plate again i drew around it on to white paper, then drew a circle inside that circle, ( by hand ) making a big circle frame, i cut the frame out with my craft knife & scissors ,then stuck it down over the black paper. i mounted the photo on white card and attached it to the lo. i wrote out some single words on to white paper, drawing a border around them then cutting them out, attached those around the photo. i made the flowers myself using black paper, using a white gel pen i drew a border inside the flowers and coloured the centres of the flowers in. attaching the flowers to the lo with brads. i drew in some twirls around the flowers for added interest. last of all i drew the name gary on the back of the black paper, cut it out then stuck it down at the bottom of the page. i just love this lo.

this lo was fun to do, using up my old stash again, i found a few little treasures in my craft box, i just love the lock & key, and just had to use it for this lo. i made the jounaling card myself, using the wavy journal card on mirabyll's blog, her blog link is on my blog under inspiration sites. i stuck it down on to blue paper, and cut it out leaving a thin wavy border. i made the round tags myself using scraps of paper, brads & ribbon. and made the background card ( pale green & black), using my fiskars stencil, for the lovely edging ,then used a piece of floral black paper, for the centre. the photo is of me on st.ives beach cornwall.

here is a lo, based on me and my hobbies, i made the journaling card myself, i used my fiskars stencil, to draw around the scalope shape, on one side of the j-card, then cut it out. i used up some old stash, flowers, buttons, ribbon, & scraps of coloured papers. on this lo. and wrote out a few single craft words, on to scraps of green paper. drawing a line around the words and cutting them out. i just love this lo.

MY NEW STASH

Well ive been very naughty recently, and treated myself to some new pet papers & stickers, well i was very low on them, hee hee. the papers i bought are, ( brazil, karen foster, sandylion, hot off the press br acetate overlay(dog) and cardstock, black, white. br burgundy 8x8 cardstock. the stickers are br sticker sheet dog words, creative imaginations 12x12 sticker sheet br dog bites and karen foster resin rounds br pets stickers. bellow are the lo's i made from this new stash. i often make my own frames, what i do is when ever i buy frames i make a template of them so i can make my own frames in future, using up my pattern paper scraps and cardstock scraps. i also do this for making my own tags. the adhesives i use are, double sided tape, glue dotes ( for attaching buttons), and sticky foam squares mini.( i hate glue its too messy). thanks for reading my blog, and for the lovely comments. xx

this lo was made using, striped orange & brown scrapbook paper, and a hot off the press acetate overlay (DOG). , i attached the acetate to the paper using, silver heart brads top right of page. and bottom left of page. then added red bottons in the middle. i used metal charms for the lasey title. then mounted the big photo on to orange paper then on to black cardstock. stitching 3 bottons red & white to the corners of the photo. i made 3 slide mount frames using black cardstock, sticking photo's behind them. then i stapeled bits of ribbon on the sides of the frames.

then attached them on to the acetate using doublesided tape. last of all i added a pampered pet sticker underneth the big photo.

this lo was made using a dog buscuits/newspaper scrapbooking paper. the title reble, was done using my old metal alphabet charms. i mounted the photo's on to black cardstock. and added them to the page. the bottom photo was mounted on to grey cardstock first, i wrote a bit about reble on the side of the photo. added some stickers. and wrote out some words ( cute, clever, funny ect, on to grey card, cut the single words out, then using my whispers perminant pens( black) i inked the edges of the words, then added the words to the sides of the photo's. last of all i cut out the letter R from black cardstock and attached it to the page.

for this page, i used a 12x12 dog words paper, for the background. added a 8x8 burgundy card sheet, in the centre of the page. attached a photo of my old dog lasey. added some doggy stickers. and last of all i made a flower, i traced the two flowers from the back of an old scrapbook mag, and made two card templates. drew around them, on to scraps of brown paper and on to red cardstock. then cut them out. added a left over piece of ribbon to the back. then attached the flower to the page with a big black brad. and curled the brown flower up a bit. lasey was such a good dog. i miss her so much.

i enjoyed making this page, with my new papers & stickers. i used the dog bone times scrapbook paper, to mount a photo of my dogs, Tia & Seby, then added the border sticker( Treats) across the bottom of the photo. added a small photo of seby at the top of the page. i then stuck down a tiny photo of Tia on a piece of the dog bone times paper. middle right pic, then used my whispers perminant pen (red) to draw a border around the piece of paper. i added a tiny pic of seby bottom right. and made a square frame from black card, and attached that with lots of silver mini brads to embellish the frame as well as attaching the frame to the paper. last of all i added a few stickers to the bottom of the page. im quite pleased with the finished resalt.

MAKE YOUR OWN JOURNALLING CARDS

i decided to use up some of my card scraps, making my own journalling cards, as i can never find eny in my local craft shops. it was good fun making these. to make them i used my deckle edged scissors, buttons, cross stitch threads ( for the stitching). and my whispers permanent pens. i think they turned out pritty good. why not try making some for your self!!. thank you for reading my blog and for the lovely comments. MAKE YOUR OWN EMBELLISHMENTS

Making your own embellishments, can be great fun, and is good for using up your old stash, and scraps of papers. and can be just the thing to go with your lo. here's my attemped of making my own. here ive used mini pastel brads, sticky ribbon, big flower brads, stickers, (a dragonfly peel off sticker, then stuck it on blue/green card scrap. i folded the wings up, then cut a square sticky foam pad in half and stuck it down on the underside of the dragonfly body, so the wings can fold up then attached it too the centre of the round card, the green & yellow ribbons were folded in half underneth the card and stuck down with double sided tape). i used a varity of deckle edged scissors to cut out the card shapes. Thanks for looking at my blog, why not try making your own embellishments!!, dont forget to use up those odd Alphabet letters too. xx

This is my niece shannon rose, when she was very young. ive always loved this picture of her, and just had to scrapbook it. for this page i used a plane pink 12x12 background card, i then tore a big piece of blue flower papermania paper, to leave a white torn edge at the top and bottom, i stuck the blue paper down, with double sided tape, on to the middle of the pink card. i then tore another piece of the blue paper top & bottom to make a thin border and stuck it down at the top of the page. i attached pink flower brads to the pink card at the top of the page , and also to the pink card under the photo, for decoration. i attached the photo on to some white card, and tore the white card around the photo, to leave a thin white border, then stuck that on to some pink card, and tore that around the white border, to leave a thin pink border. i stuck sticky ribbon down in the middle of the blue paper, then attached the matted photo in the centre. i added some heart die cuts to the sides of the photo. and a sheep die cut for the bottom of the page. i attached heart brads, to the oval tags, and attached the tags to the bottom of the page with mini pink brads. and to finish it off i stuck down a sticker ribbon, to the very bottom of the page. all the brads' paper & sticker ribbon are papermania. im very pleased with this lo i made today. and im still using up my old scrapbooking stash!, how cool is that!.

MARK & SUE'S WEDDING

This is a scrapbook page of my brother mark & sues wedding, it was a fantastic day, the weather was great too, i just had to scrapbook it!. for this page, i used a ribbon with congratulations on it, and stuck it down at the top of the page for added interest. i stuck down 8x8 size yellow papermania paper on to handmade white paper, then i tore the white paper around the yellow, to leave a soft white border. i attached the photo's at the top of the yellow paper. then stuck on the glasses & bells papermania glitter stickers, at the bottom of the page and in the middle of the page. i added a E-Z stick-on heart sticker, to the bottom of the page. and last of all to finish it off i added craft stickers autocollants, wedding dress' head dress & flower stickers. im so pleased with this lo, its fab.

here is a lo i done of my great niece roxanne, so far this year ive been realy good, i havent bought enymore scrapbooking materials. for my newyears resolution, i decided not to buy enymore, until ive used up what ive got. and believe me i have a lot. for this lo i used my green flower embossed paper, that i had for christmas, and stuck it down behind the photo, to highlight the colours of the photo. i attached the vellum saying to the green paper, using green eyelets. then threaded through green & blue thread, tieing them both in the middle to finish off. i used my dymo machine to type out the words, roxanne in the ballpool at flambards. and attached the words on the right side of the photo. last of all i used my old velvet alphabet stickers, to add the word fun, under the photo. i think the colours ive used, work realy well with the photo. this is one of my faverate lo's, so far.

for this lo, i used up some of my old diecut shapes, i thought they looked too plane, so i used my glitter glues to highlight the letters on the block, on the dummy, on the duck and on the butterfly. then added them to the page. i attached a diecut of stars & moon under the photo, and used glitter glue on the word adorable, to make it sparkel. i stuck down alphabet stickers ,down the right side of the page, and used glitter glue on the letters too, with the name roxanne. i made the slider at the bottom of the page, using my cuttlebug machine, sliderdie and card scraps. i added a pink flower botton to embellish it. last of all i weaved through the papermania ribbon to attach the slider. then secured the ribbon to the back of the page. i love how much this page sparkel.

here is a lo , i made of my great niece Roxanne, the gold paper i had for christmas, was ideal to put behind the photo , to highlight the colour of the teddy. i used up some heart shapes i had and added baby brads, feet & hands to embellish them, and attached them to the corners of the photo. on the top and bottom of the page i used sticker ribbon, which i also had for christmas. the side panels are colour charts from a paint leflet, the colours were ideal for this page, i added flower brads & pink bottons to embellish it. im realy pleased with how this page turned out.

ATC ADDICTS CHALLENGE 1

new addition, gave me a ATC challenge, the challenge was to make a ATC using autumn colours
so what i did was tripple emboss a plane background, then while the powder was still hot i stamped and held the stamp down, till the powder cooled, then gently lifted the stamp away. to reveal a embossed leaf image. i then used a leaf hole punch for the background leaves, i punched
brown and red leaves. the background paper was a browny orangey effect. that was bought in a pack, i think it was papermania paper. first i stuck down the paper, then stuck the leaves down, then stuck the embossed image down in the centre. last of all i heat embossed the edges to finish the look. im realy pleased with the end resalt. becareful if you tripple emboss though, because i used a clear cling stamp and the heated powder melted the design on one of my stamps. oops. xx

This is a book mark i made, at a craft class, i went to, it was the first, parchment craft item, i made. i thought it would be difficult to make, but it was quite easy. i enjoyed making it so much, that i bought a parchment set, so i could make other things.

For this page, all i had to do, was add photo's to it, and dymo words. because i used Spainish printed paper.

For this page, i made a waterfall card, and stuck on some photo's, of the flamenco dancers. i used my dymo tool, to add words to it, in english & spainish.

This page, i made the Spainish fan myself, by making a single fan, card template. i then drawed around it a few times on to the black paper, cut the shapes out, then i used a heart punch, and punched to tops, i punched a hole at the bottoms of the shapes, i made the tassel myself, using cross stitch threads, i cut a piece of thread, then lots of smaller pieces, the same size, in black & red, i layed the smaller threads together over the bigger piece, then tied a piece of thread around it, to make the tassel. i put a brad through the shape holes, and through the scrapbook page, tied the tassel on around the brad. The fan shapes moves, so you can open them to where you wont them.

on this page, i used a Alphabet stencil, to make the Title, on plain coloured card, and used left over scrap's of design paper to stick on part of the letters, to add interest.

hi everyone, i hope you like my cross stitching, i done, quite a while ago now. just thought i'd show you my work. i had a lot of fun lerning to cross stitch. i made mums friend betty, two cross stitch julery boxes for her birthday, well i bought the boxes, but stitched the design for the lids. she loved her present, so that was good, i just wish i took a photo of them, so i can show them on here,never mind. the cross stitch pics on here, i made for my mum, and she realy liked them, im in to other crafts now, i love to lern new arts and crafts as its so much fun.

i done this scrapbook, as i had lots of old photo's of my family, and couldent wait to do an old style book, using fab papers & embellishments, i used differant ageing techniques, to make the pages look old, and i think it worked quite well. im realy pleased with it.

ive been in to arts and crafts for most of my life, i studied intermidiate art & design and addvanced art & design, at cornwall colledge. it was great to lern about, everything from, drawing & painting, ceramics,print making, photography, willow sculptures, & metal work. but most of all i love drawing and painting, i like to experiment with all media/water colour, pastil's, carcoal, coloured pencils, graphite pencils, acrylics, & oil paints, (i find oil paints most difficult to use)but hopefully practice makes perfect. at the moment im using water colour paint,to lern all the techniques involved, and to improve my watercolour paintings. soon i'll post my gallery, and show my work, comments on my work are all welcome, and tips on how i can improve on it,is also welcome. please feel free to ask me any question's.

i got into scrapbooking, 5 years ago now,with a friend of mine, who was also into it, and been having fun with it since. i get my inspiration from scrapbooking mags. i have done meny pages on differant subjects. but my fav is my spanish album & my vintage album. i like to experiment with differant shape's , hidden pockets, ect. i also like to try out my own idea's. all comments on my work are welcome, feel free to ask me any question's. ive been card making for about the same time too, and will soon show my scrapbook pages & cards ive made. aswell as eny other crafts.
